Vide order dated 07.09.2022 passed by this Court, the First Appellate Court was directed to expedite hearing of the suit and decide the same as expeditiously as possible but, not later than three months from the date of receipt of copy of the said order.
Vide communication dated 23.02.2023, the First Appellate Court sought extension of time limit for the reasons stated in the said communication.
I have perused the contents of the said communication dated 23.02.2023. Considering the reasons and explanation furnished by the First Appellate Court, time to dispose of Regular Civil Appeal No.52 of 2021 pending before the learned 6th Additional District and Sessions Judge, Bhuj - Kachchh is hereby further extended for a period of four months from today. It is hoped that the learned Appellate Judge would adhere to the time limit so fixed and will put his/her serious efforts to dispose of the suit within a period of four months. It is made clear that in any case no time will be extended further.
The Office Note stands disposed of. Registry is directed to intimate the concerned First Appellate Court immediately.
