This Criminal Petition is filed aggrieved by the Non-Bailable Warrant (NBW) issued by the XVI Additional Judge-cum-XX Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, City Civil Court, Secunderabad (for short, 'the learned trial Court') against the petitioner on 18.06.2026 in C.C.Nl.No.64 of 2023.

2.

Heard Mr. Ambedkar Dunna, learned counsel representing Ms. P. Sumalatha, learned counsel for the petitioner, and Mr. Jithender Rao Veeramalla, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for respondent No.2.

3.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner had approached this Court by filing Crl.P.No.2416 of 2026, aggrieved by the order dated 26.11.2025 passed by the learned trial Court directing the petitioner to deposit 20% of the compensation amount while suspending the sentence of imprisonment. This Court, by order dated 23.02.2026, disposed of the said Criminal Petition, directing the petitioner to deposit 20% of the compensation amount within a period of six (06) weeks from the date of receipt a copy of the order. Further, due to financial difficulties, the petitioner could not deposit 20% of the compensation amount pursuant to the order dated 23.02.2026 and filed I.A.No.3 of 2026 in Crl.P.No.2416 of 2026 on 11.06.2026, seeking extension of time. Subsequently, the learned trial Court, on 18.06.2026, issued an NBW against the petitioner for non-compliance with the order dated 23.02.2026. He further submitted that this Court, while disposing of the said application, extended the time by a further period of four (04) weeks. Hence, by virtue of the extension of time granted by this Court in I.A.No.3 of 2026 in Crl.P.No.2416 of 2026, the NBW issued by the learned trial Court is liable to be quashed.

4.

Taking into consideration the aforesaid submissions and in view of the extension of time granted by this Court in I.A.No.3 of 2026 in Crl.P.No.2416 of 2026, the impugned NBW issued on 18.06.2026 in C.C.Nl.No.64 of 2023 is hereby kept in abeyance. In the event the petitioner fails to comply with the orders passed by this Court in I.A.No.3 of 2026 in Crl.P.No.2416 of 2026 within the stipulated period, the NBW issued by the learned trial Court shall come into force.

5.

Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is disposed of.

Pending miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed.
