Judgment
Heard Mr. Katika Ravinder Reddy, learned counsel for the petitioners, and Mr. Putta Krishna Reddy, learned Standing Counsel for Municipalities, appearing for respondent No.2, and perused the material on record.
Learned Standing Counsel appearing for respondent No.2 submitted that the petitioners had submitted reply to the show-cause notices dated 12.08.2026, 17.08.2026 and 18.08.2026. He further submitted that the reply submitted by the petitioners, along with the supporting documents, would be duly considered in accordance with law, and that if any action is to be taken, the same would be done by resorting to the provisions of the Telangana Municipalities Act, 2019.
By recording the above submissions of the learned Standing Counsel, the writ petition is disposed of, directing respondent No.2 not to interfere with the possession and enjoyment of the petitioners over the subject land admeasuring Acs.1-34.5 guntas in Survey Nos.211 and 212 of Annaram Village, Gummadidala Mandal, Sangareddy District, without following due process of law. Respondent No.2 shall afford an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioners in the enquiry pursuant to the show cause notices dated 12.08.2026, 17.08.2026 and 18.08.2026. There shall be no order as to costs.
As a sequel thereto, the miscellaneous applications, pending if any, shall stand closed.
