Heard Mr. P.P.N. Roy, learned senior counsel appearing for the appellant and the learned counsel for the State.

The counsel for the appellant has submitted that the appellant is in custody since 18th July, 2007 i.e. he is in custody for nearly 4 years 4 months. He has also submitted that another co-convict namely Rajdeep Kumar @ Deepa Sunni @ Chhotu, who has been arrested on spot and from whose possession, a huge amount has been recovered, has also been granted bail by another Bench of this Court in Cr. Appeal No.500 of 2009 vide order dated 26.9.2011 on the ground that he is in custody for the last four and half years.

Considering the submissions of the learned counsel for the appellant and considering the period of custody and also considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the appellant namely Laxman Sao @ Binod Kumar Verma is directed to be released on bail, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Ten thousand), with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of the trial court/ learned Additional Judicial Commissioner, F.T.C.-VIII, Ranchi, or his predecessor learned Additional Judicial Commissioner, Ranchi, in connection with S.T. No.503/07 and S.T.No.600/07 (Lalpur P.S. Case No.76 of 2007, corresponding to G.R. Case No.2098 of 2007) subject to the conditions that one of the bailors will be his close relative and another will be of local resident having immovable property within the jurisdiction of the trial court concerned.

The aforesaid I.A. stands disposed of.
