Judgment
Gurvinder Singh Gill, J
Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and without commenting anything as regards the veracity of the averments made in the petition, the same is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Ludhiana Rural (Jagraon), District Ludhiana, to examine the alleged threat perception of the petitioner as has been detailed in representation dated 11.4.2022 (Annexure P-5). In case it is found that there is genuine threat to life and liberty of the petitioner, then necessary steps under law be taken thereupon at the earliest.
Needless to mention that the matter pertaining to FIR No.18, dated 16.3.2022, Police Station Hathur, District Ludhiana Rural, under Sections 336, 427, 506, 148, 149 IPC and Sections 25, 27 (Act No.54) of Arms Act, shall be investigated in accordance with law.
A copy of this order along with copy of representation Annexure P-5 be sent to Senior Superintendent of Police, Ludhiana Rural (Jagraon), District Ludhiana (respondent No.2) so as to enable him to do the needful at the earliest.
