This Criminal Petition is filed by the Petitioners/Accused Nos.3 and 5 under Sec.482 Cr.P.C., seeking to quash the proceedings in S.T.C.No.1320 of 2013 on the file of the Court of the Special Judicial Magistrate of First Class for Railways, Guntakal for the offence under Sections 147 and 174(a) of the Railway Act, 1989.
Learned counsel for the petitioners is present and submitted that the matter has become infructuous.
At the time of hearing, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor, on instructions, would submit that S.T.C.No.1320 of 2013 on the file of the Court of the Special Judicial Magistrate of First Class for Railways, Guntakal was disposed of on 12.10.2015 convicting the accused and filed e-copy of the case status, to that effect.
In that view of the matter, nothing survives in this criminal petition for adjudication. Therefore, recording the submission of the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor, this criminal petition is dismissed as infructuous. Pending applications, if any, shall stand closed.
