Judgment
Grievance in this application is against illegal operation of brick kiln by Pari Eent Udyog, Village Ainch, District Mathura, U.P.
According to the applicant, the said brick kiln is operating in violation of norms and resulting in pollution. The State PCB has failed to take remedial action inspite of complaints made. The brick kiln was closed by the State PCB for violation of environmental norms but it is still operating. The applicant has filed copy of letter dated 02.05.2022 issued by the Regional Office, State PCB, addressed to the office of State PCB, Lucknow to the effect that order of closure dated 29.03.2022 was passed and the brick kiln was closed on 28.04.2022. Compensation for violation of environmental norms for one day was imposed.
In view of the averments in the application, we direct the State PCB and the District Magistrate, Mathura to look into the matter and take remedial action in accordance with law.
The Application is disposed of.
A copy of this order be forwarded to the State PCB and the District Magistrate, Mathura by email for compliance.
