Judgment
[1] Heard Shri D. Julius Riamei, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners.
[2] The petitioners are the representatives of the Keisham Kunjabihari Memorial Trust. In the petition, the petitioners state that the late Keisham
Kunjabihari Singh, a journalist established Ngasi Rastralipi Primary and High Schools which had been taken over by the Government later on.
According to the petitioners, the said schools had already been amalgamated with other school and the land situated at the school campus has been
lying unused by the Government. Accordingly, the petitioners submitted a representation dated 17-3-2020 for handover the properties back to the said
Trust so that the Trust can use, preserve and look after the school's areas and properties as a memorial complex of the founder. According to the
petitioners, the said representation is still pending for consideration and disposal by the State Government.
[3] When the matter is taken up for consideration, it has been submitted by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners that the instant writ
petition can be disposed of by issuing an innocuous order and accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of with the direction that the respondents
and in particular respondent No. 2 shall consider the said representation dated 17-3-2020 within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a
copy of this order by issuing a speaking order in respect thereof.
