Heard Mr. L. Sevananda Sharma, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr. Niranjan Sanasam, learned GA appearing for the respondents.
In view of the limited prayer made by the counsel appearing for the petitioner and as agreed to by both the counsel appearing for the parities, the present writ petition is disposed of at the Motion stage itself.
At the outset, Mr. L. Sevananda, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner will be satisfied for the time being if the present writ petition is disposed of by directing the Officer-in-Charge, Patsoi Police Station, Imphal West District, to consider the representation dated 01-12-2023 submitted by the petitioner and to dispose of the same by taking appropriate action within a stipulated period.
Mr. Niranjan Sanasam, learned GA appearing for the respondents fairly submitted that as the prayer made on behalf of the petitioner is confined to consideration and disposal of the representation submitted by him, he has no objection in disposing of the present writ petition as prayed for by the counsel for the petitioner.
In view of the submission made by the counsel appearing for the parties, the present writ petition is hereby disposed of by directing the Officer-in-Charge, Patsoi Police Station, Imphal West District, to consider the said representation dated 01-12-2023 submitted by the counsel for the petitioner and to take appropriate action as deem fit and proper. The whole exercise should be completed within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.
With the aforesaid direction, the present writ petition is disposed of.
