Cheekati Manavendranath Roy, J

This Criminal Petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (for short “Cr.P.C.”) is filed seeking quash of F.I.R in Crime No.618 of 2021 of III Town Police Station, Visakhapatnam City, registered for the offence punishable under Section 509 IPC against the petitioner.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State.

At the time of hearing, learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that entire investigation in this case is completed and that charge sheet is also filed in the trial Court on 22.02.2022.

In that view of the matter, nothing survives in this Criminal Petition for adjudication, which is filed for quash of F.I.R.

Therefore, the Criminal Petition is dismissed. However, if the petitioner feels aggrieved by the filing of charge sheet against him, he is at liberty to file a fresh criminal petition seeking quash of charge sheet.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, in the Criminal Petition, shall stand closed.
