List has been revised. Nobody is present on behalf of the applicant. However, Shri Chakrapani Vatsyayan, learned counsel for the respondents is present.

Contempt is a matter between the Court and Contemnor; therefore, we proceed to hear the matter.

This Contempt Petition has been filed under Section 17 of the Administrative Tribunal Act, 1985 for non compliance of the order dated 18.01.2024 passed in Original Application No.68/2024, whereby the following direction was issued:-

“As no fruitful purpose would be served by keeping this O.A.pending or by calling for a reply in this matter unless the representations are decided upon by the competent authority, I deem it fit to dispose of this O.A., at admission stage, with a direction upon the respondent No.4 and 5/ competent authority to consider the pending representations of the applicants, in accordance with the extant rules and in the light of the judgment of the Hon’ble High Court passed in case of Nand Vijay Singh and others Vs. Union of India and others (Supra) within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order and to take a decision thereon by way of a reasoned and speaking order under intimation to the applicants herein.”

Learned counsel for the respondents stated that he has complied with the aforesaid direction of this Tribunal.

From the perusal of the compliance affidavit, it is reflected that the respondents have complied with the Tribunal's direction and to this effect they have also issued revised PPO to the applicants.

In view of the above, this Contempt Petition is hereby consigned to record. The notices issued to the respondents are discharged.

All pending M.As, if any, shall be treated as disposed of. The registry will take appropriate action in this regard for removing the M.As.
