Judgment
Mr. S. Bhattacharjee, learned counsel of this court is appointed as the Mediator to find out a settlement of the dispute outside the court process, if feasible. The mediation be carried out as per the MCPC (Mediation and Conciliation Project Committee) guidelines and all sort of logistic support will be provided to Mr. Bhattacharjee, learned counsel by the High Court Mediation Centre.
The parties are directed to appear on 30.07.2020 at 1.00 p.m. at High Court Mediation Centre. The Secretary, High Court Mediation Centre shall issue the formal notice to the parties. However, the notice may be served to the parties through their engaged counsel. The counsel for the parties will also be allowed to be present in the mediation.
Mr. Bhattacharjee, learned counsel, shall submit the report by 18.08.2020.
The fee of the Mediator be paid as per the regulation.
Mr. D. K. Biswas, learned counsel appears for the petitioner.
Mr. S. M. Chakraborty, learned senior counsel assisted by Ms. A. Pal, learned counsel and Mr. K. K. Pal appears for the respondents.
Copies of the writ petition and the reply be supplied to Mr. Bhattacharjee, learned mediator by 17.07.2020 so that he can have a glimpse of the dispute on records.
