This is a civil writ petition filed under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari to quash the charge sheet dated 19.09.2011, enquiry report dated 16.03.2012. A further prayer is made for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus for directions to the respondents to reinstate the petitioner in service.
In the present case, the petitioner was dismissed from service vide order dated 19.04.2012 and the appeal filed by the petitioner was dismissed on 20.02.2014. The petitioner had filed revision petition in the present case before the Director General of Police, Haryana on 22.02.2023 i.e., after delay of more than 9 years as has been noticed in the order dated 21. 07.2023. No ground of revision has been annexed with the present writ petition for condoning the delay.
Learned counsel for the petitioner seeks to withdraw the present petition with liberty to file a fresh petition after annexing the said grounds of revision and giving full and better particulars.
In view of the statement made by learned counsel for the petitioner, the present petition is dismissed as withdrawn with the aforesaid liberty.
