Judgment
H. S. Thangkhiew, J
Mr. A. H. Kharwanlang, learned counsel for the respondents No. 2 and 3 submits that there has been no formal application or representation made by the writ petitioner, with regard to payment of compensation. He submits that he is under instructions to apprise this Court, that should the petitioner file such representation, the same shall be taken up for consideration immediately.
Mr. S. Jindal, Legal Aid Counsel for the petitioner submits that the same shall be done immediately but further prays that the matter be kept pending before this Court to ensure expeditious compliance.
In consideration of the submissions made, it is directed that the writ petitioner present an appropriate representation/application before the respondents No. 2 and 3, for release of ex-gratia and such other amounts immediately that may be permissible. The annexures which has been appended to the writ petition, shall be taken to be part of the representation to be filed by the writ petitioner.
Mr. S. Jindal, learned counsel undertakes to file representation within 1(one) week from today.
List this matter on 5th June, 2023 for further orders.
A copy of the order be given to the counsels for the parties.
