Judgment

Heard Mr. Ch. Momon, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr. Shyam Sharma, learned GA appearing for the respondents.
It has been submitted at the Bar by the learned counsel for the parties that the matter can be disposed of by issuing a simple direction to the respondents to the effect that if the land of the petitioner is required for laying down the pipes, the respondents should take necessary steps under the relevant provision of law for acquisition of the said land.
In view of the submission made above, the present writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondents that if the authorities required the land belonging to the petitioner, necessary process should be taken up under the relevant provision of law for acquision of the land. Further, liberty is also given to the authorities to purchase the land directly from the petitioner, if the petitioner is agreeable to such direct purchase.
With the aforesaid direction, the present writ petition is disposed of.
