The present petition under section 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed for extension of temporary bail granted by this Court by order dated 21.12.2023 in M.Cr.C.No. 54519/2023. The applicant was granted temporary bail on the ground of ailment of his father as he was required to undergo surgery.
Counsel for the applicant submits that surgery could not take place as father of the applicant was having high B.P. and other complications. Now the date for surgery is fixed as 29.1.2024 and thereafter he has been advised rest for 10 days. The application is supported by an affidavit and also the certificate issued by Dr. Surendra Kumar Khunte.
Considering the aforesaid submission, temporary bail granted to the applicant is extended upto 18.2.2024 on the same terms and conditions. The applicant shall surrender before the trial court on 19.2.2024. In case if the applicant does not surrender on or before the said date, the trial court shall be free to take steps to arrest the applicant in accordance with law.
With the aforesaid, the petition stands disposed off.
