On 22.08.2025, following order was passed:-

“ The petitioners are working with respondent-U.T. Administration through outsource agency. As per Ordinary Rule of Business, the Administration is making payment to outsource agency which in turn is paying to the petitioners. The grievance of the petitioners is that they are not getting wages at D.C. Rates. The U.T. Administration is not denying entitlement of petitioners at D.C. Rates.

Let an affidavit of Chief Engineer-respondent No.2 be filed before the adjourned date disclosing whether payment made to outsource agency is calculated considering D.C. Rates or not. Whether being principal employer, he is liable to ensure payment at D.C. Rates or not.

Adjourned to 19.09.2025.”

Pursuant to aforesaid order, the respondent has filed affidavit dated 18.09.2025 deposing that Electricity Department is ready to pay differential amount of salary of CFC staff that is pending as per D.C. rates as and when raised by respondent No.5.

On being asked, learned counsel for respondent Nos.1 to 4 submits that petitioners may submit documentary evidence disclosing that they were not paid as per D.C. rates and if they submit documents in support of their contention, the competent authority would look into the matter and release differential amount, if any found.

In the wake of statement of learned counsel for respondent Nos.1 to 4, the petition stands disposed of. Let the needful be done within eight weeks from the date of filing aforesaid documents by petitioners.

Pending Misc. application(s), if any, shall also stand disposed of.
