Judgment
Sunil Thomas, J
Petitioner is the mother and one of the dependent of one Sajin who met with an accident on 22.06.2019 and succumbed thereafter. An application
seeking compensation was filed before the M.A.C.T, Thrissur and is pending as OP.(M.V.).No.2057 of 2019. Petitioner has approached this Court
contending that she had availed a loan of Rs.2.75 lakhs from Chalakkudy Taluk Primary Co-operative Agricultural & Rural Development Bank Ltd.
and notice of default has now been issued. She has no other source of income and hence seeks for an early disposal of OP. (M.V.).No.2057 of 2019.
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, learned counsel for the respondent and learned Standing Counsel Adv.Lal K. Joseph for the Insurance
Company.
Considering the limited prayer sought by the petitioner and after perusing the report submitted by the learned Tribunal dated 07.05.2021, wherein the
learned Tribunal has offered to dispose of the matter within six months inspite of the pendency of huge cases in that Court.
Accordingly, original petition is disposed of with a direction that the court below shall take up and dispose of OP.(M.V.).No.2057 of 2019 as
expeditiously as possible, at any rate within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment or from the date of completion
of service, whichever is later.
