The original petition is filed, interalia, to direct the Court of the Musiff-II, Thiruvananthapuram to dispose of O.S.No.1848/2017 within a time frame.
Pursuant to the order dated 29.11.2021 passed by this Court, the learned Munsiff has by communication dated 07.12.2021 informed this Court that the above suit can be disposed of within a period of six months.
Heard; the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned counsel appearing for the respondents 2 and 3. In view of the limited relief that I propose to pass, i.e., to only direct the court below to dispose of the suit within a time frame, I dispense with further notice to the 1st respondent.
In the light of the pleadings and the materials on record and the communication of the learned Munsiff and in exercise of the powers of this Court under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, I direct the Court of the Munsiff-II, Thiruvananthapuram to dispose of O.S.No.1848/2017, in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible and in accordance with law, at any rate within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this judgment.
The original petition is ordered accordingly.
