The present writ petition is taken up today through Video conferencing.

I.A. No.10309 of 2018 The present interlocutory application has been filed on behalf of the Karma Oraon-respondent no.8, raising preliminary objection with regard to maintainability of the writ petition in view of the provisions enshrined under Article 212 of the Constitution of India as well as the 'Jharkhand State Legislature Practice and Procedure Conduct Rules, 2015'.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and keeping in view that the objection with regard to maintainability of the writ petition involves question of law, the said issue shall be considered at the time of hearing of the writ petition itself.

I.A. No.10309 of 2018 stands disposed of. W.P.(C) No.4933 of 2018 A counter affidavit has been filed on behalf of the respondent nos.2 to 4 and 6.

Learned counsel for the respondent nos.8 and 9, prays for some more time by way of last indulgence to file counter affidavit on behalf of the aforesaid respondents.

Reference may be made to order dated 22nd February, 2021, whereby it was observed that if the rest of the respondents wanted to file their respective counter affidavits, they might file the same before the next date fixed, failing which their right of filing the same would be forfeited.

However, keeping in view the prayer made by the learned counsel for the respondent nos.8 and 9, the said respondents are permitted to file counter affidavit(s) by 6th May, 2021, subject to payment of cost of Rs.1000/- in favour of Advocates' Association Welfare and Development Fund Jharkhand High Court, Ranchi.

Put up this case under the heading 'For Admission' on 9th June, 2021.

Learned counsel for the parties shall come prepared on the next date to pursue their respective cases.
