Judgment
Shri Anil Joshi, learned GA-cum-AAG has submitted the factual report as per which, the alleged corpus Mst. ‘R’ was traced out during the course of investigation of the FIR No.54/2022, Police Station Jhanwar. She was presented in the court of the Magistrate concerned for recording her statement under Section 164 Cr.P.C. wherein, she emphatically stated that she has married Vijay Singh of her own free will and volition and is living happily in the matrimonial home. While proceedings were underway, the maternal relatives of the girl, tried to forcibly catch hold of her on which, learned Magistrate was compelled to call the police officials from the Police Station Udaimandir. The girl requested the Magistrate for providing security on which, learned Magistrate directed that she shall be safely escorted to Kudi Bhagtasani.
In view of the above development, manifestly, the corpus is not illegally confined. Hence, the instant habeas corpus petition is rejected. Rule is discharged.
