Judgment
The corpus Mst. ‘S’ has been produced in the court by Mr. Bhagirath, ASI and Ms. Anju Rani, Female Constable, Police Station Hanumangarh Town, District Hanumangarh. She is a major mature girl studying in the 3rd year of graduation degree course.
We conferred with her. With full confidence at her command, the corpus stated that she has married the alleged suspect Mr. Manpreet of her own free will and volition and is living with her husband at Chandigarh.
Learned counsel for the petitioner prays that the matter may be adjourned and the corpus be called back in this court so that the petitioner, being her father, can meet her.
The corpus controverted this submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner stating that she has already been made to meet her parents and other relatives twice during previous few weeks.
In this view of the matter, apparently, the corpus is not under illegal confinement. Thus, we set her at liberty. She shall be safely escorted to the placed desired by her. The habeas corpus petition is disposed of. The rule is discharged.
