The corpus ‘M’ has been produced before this Court by the concerned police officer.

On specific interaction with the corpus, she stated that she is residing with her parents at present. Her uncle Gappa Ram took her to the residence of one Gajja Ram, where she was detained for a period of four days and was physically abused by both Gappa Ram and Gajja Ram. She further states that from the place of Gajja Ram, she was taken to the place of one Kana Ram and there also she was illegally detained and was physically abused. She also stated that her uncle Gappa Ram has been misbehaving with her since a year and he also physically abuses her.

In view of the statements made by the corpus, we direct the concerned police officer to record the statement of the corpus and in pursuance of the said statements if any offence is made out, the officer shall investigate the same and take proper action against the persons named by the corpus.

So far as the present petition is concerned, the corpus has clearly stated that she wishes to go with Dinesh Kumar, whom she had married.

As the corpus is a major, she is free to go along with the person she wishes to go. The concerned police officer shall ensure the safety of the corpus to her desired destination.

The habeas corpus petition is disposed of accordingly.
