Judgment
Issue of illegal running of dairy farm in House No. 5778, Gali No. 5, New Chandrawal Jawahar Nagar, Delhi was raised in this application and the matter was taken up by this Tribunal on 28.04.2022. Action taken report was called for from the joint Committee.
The joint Committee submitted the report on 11.10.2022 and in compliance of the order dated 13.10.2022, DPCC/MCD was directed to take action. In compliance to the order, the MCD has filed the action taken report/status report on 06.02.2023 to the fact that the illegal dairy farm premises under question was sealed by the veterinary department and at the time of sealing of illegal dairy farm, no cattle was found at the site in question. Further, an inspection was made prior to sealing of the unit and approximately 30 cattles were impounded and have been rehabilitated to Gopal Gosadan Harevli and Dabar Hare Krishana Gaushala, Surhera.
The Delhi Pollution Control Committee has assessed the environmental compensation and notices were issued for realization of compensation and further process of execution has been initiated.
In light of above facts, proper action has been taken by the MCD and DPCC and the unit has been sealed and violations have been remediated with imposition and process of realization of environmental compensation.
No further action is required to be taken in this matter. The Original Application stands disposed of accordingly.
