Judgment
Mr. D.N. Patel, J. - Having heard learned counsels for both sides and looking to the facts and circumstances of the case, it appears that this applicant has calculated the legally payable amount of Rs. 2,40,000/- (approximately) which are to be paid by the respondents.
Now the dispute between the respondents Jharkhand State Electricity Board and the Bihar State Electricity Board is going and one is shifting the liability upon another.
Counsels for both the Electricity Boards submitted that some arbitration proceeding is also going on about their interest and liability for some of the employees'' dues and, therefore, this contempt application is not tenable in the eyes of law.
In view of the aforesaid facts, I, hereby, direct both the Electricity Boards to deposit Rs. 1,20,000/- each before the Registrar General of this Court, on or before 17th March, 2016.
The Registrar General of this Court will accept the amount and deposit the same in a nationalized bank.
Matter is adjourned to be enlisted on 18th March, 2016.
