Heard the parties.

The applicant is a retired Technician Grade-II, Northern Railway and has filed the present OA seeking direction to pay compound interest @ 12 % on the amount of Rs. 8,94,893/- of DCRG.

The learned counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant stood superannuated on 31.07.2024 and respondents have withheld DCRG amount of Rs. 8,94,893/- for more than 6 months and the applicant is entitled to compound interest @ 12 % as the delay is not attributable to the applicant.

Issue notice to the respondents.

Mr. Acharya Santosh Pandey, the learned counsel appears on advance service, accepts notice and service of notice to the respondents is waived off.

Learned counsel appearing for the applicant, after arguing for some time, submits that the applicant would be satisfied if respondents are directed to consider and decide the pending representation of the applicant dated 13.03.2026 [Annexure A-1] in a stipulated time frame.

The learned counsel for the respondents fairly submits that the pending representation of the applicant dated 13.03.2026 [Annexure A-1] shall be considered by the respondents in accordance with law.

Heard with consent. In view of above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case. This Tribunal deem it just and proper that principles of natural justice would be met and hereby directs the competent authority/Respondent No. 02 to consider and decide the representation of the applicant dated 13.03.2026 [Annexure A-1] as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of order passed today by passing a reasoned and speaking order.

Needless to say, I have not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case and the respondent No. 02 is free to decide pending representation in accordance with law.

In view whereof, the present OA stands disposed of at admission stage itself in above indicated terms.

Resultantly, pending MA(s), if any, also stands disposed of.

However, there shall be no order as to costs.
