Writ Petition (M/S) No. 1203 of 2020 filed by petitioner was disposed of by Writ Court on 31.07.2020 with liberty to the petitioner to make
representation to S.D.M. concerned and S.D.M. was directed to take decision thereupon within six weeks.
This contempt petition has been filed alleging disobedience of the said order. A compliance affidavit has been filed by Mr. Varun Choudhary, Sub
Divisional Magistrate, Rishikesh, District Dehradun. In para no. 4 of the compliance affidavit, it has been stated that decision has been taken on
petitioner’s representation on 04.09.2020 and it has been further stated that Circle Officer, Rishikesh was directed to remove the name and boards
of both the associations. Copy of the order dated 04.09.2020, whereby petitioner’s representation was decided has been brought on record, as
Annexure-1 to the compliance affidavit.
From the said statement made on oath by the concerned Sub Divisional Magistrate, this Court is convinced that the order passed by Writ Court has
been complied with.
Accordingly, Contempt Petition is closed. Contempt notice issued against respondent is hereby discharged. However, petitioner shall be at liberty to
approach the appropriate forum for redressal of his grievance, if any.
