Judgment
Manoj Kumar Tiwari, J
Writ Court vide order dated 28.12.2020, passed in WPMS No. 2488 of 2020, had directed the Secretary of the concerned Department to take
decision on petitioner’s representation within six weeks.
In this contempt petition, it is alleged that the order passed by Writ Court has not been complied with.
A compliance affidavit has been filed Mr. Anand Bardhan, Additional Chief Secretary (Environment & Forest), Government of Uttarakhand. In
para 8 of the said compliance affidavit, it has been stated that petitioner’s representation has been decided on 29.06.2021, copy of which, is
enclosed as annexure No. 3 to the said compliance affidavit.
Mr. B.M. Pingal, learned counsel for the petitioner fairly submits that the order of Writ Court stands complied with.
In such view of the matter, contempt petition is closed. Notices issued to the opposite parties are hereby discharged. However, petitioner shall be at
liberty to approach appropriate forum for redressal of his grievance, if any.
