The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner had received 7 sovereign gold jewels from the defacto complainant for developing her dairy farm in the year 2024 and promised to return the jewel within six months, but the petitioner failed to do so. When the defacto complainant went to the petitioner's house for return of her jewels, the petitioner abused the defacto complainant using filthy language. Hence, the complaint.
Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner stated that the petitioner is ready to settle the issues before the Mediation Centre. Hence, seeking to list the matter before the Mediation Centre.
Considering the request made by learned counsel for the petitioner, this matter is referred to Mediation and Conciliation Centre, attached to this Court. Further, the Mediation Centre is directed to issue notice to the petitioner and the defacto complainant for the hearing before Mediation Centre on 17.11.2025, and complete the mediation.
The defacto complainant is suo motu impleaded in this petition. The respondent police is directed to issue notice to the defacto complainant stating the date of hearing before Mediation is on 17.11.2025 and both the petitioner and the defacto complaiant shall appear before this Court on 27.11.2025.
Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court has granted interim anticipatory bail to the petitioner till 27.11.2025 with the following conditions:-
“(i) The petitioner and the defacto complainant are directed to appear before the Mediation Centre attached to this Court on 17.11.2025 after issuance of notice.
(ii) The petitioner shall co-operate for the investigation.”
Post the case on 27.11.2025.
