The applicants, herein, are contractual employees. The applicants are aggrieved that they have not been paid minimum of the pay scale, in the

respective pay scale as was applicable to a regular appointed permanent employee. They had made representation on 12.02.2014 (Annexure A/1) and

again on 25.09.2018. These have not been replied to as yet.

Heard. Issue notice to the respondents.

Shri Saksham Ahuja, who appears as proxy to Ms. Esha Mazumdar, learned counsel, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

At this stage, the applicants plead that they will be satisfied if a direction can be issued to the respondents to decide their pending representations in

a time bound manner.

In view of the foregoing, OA is disposed of at the admission stage itself, without going into the merits of the case, with a direction to the

respondents to pass a reasoned and speaking order on the pending representations, duly keeping in view extent Rules on the subject, within a period of

12 weeks of uploading of Order onto the CAT website, under advise to the applicants.

Pending MA, if any, also stands disposed of accordingly. No order as to costs.
