This Criminal Petition is filed under Sections 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (‘CrPC’) seeking anticipatory bail to petitioner in an unregistered crime.
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor for the State.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though no crime is registered against the petitioner, the Police, Disha Police Station, Ananthapuram have been frequently calling the petitioner to the police station, in connection with the financial matters pertaining to one Anjaneyulu with the petitioner.
Learned Assistant Public Prosecutor is disputing the said contention and submitted that as per the instructions received by him that no case is registered and no report also received against the petitioner.
After hearing submissions of both sides, it appears that no crime has been registered against the petitioner pertaining to Disha Police Station, Ananthapuram.
In the said facts of the case and without going into the correctness of the contentions, this Court is inclined to close this petition directing the police, Disha Police Station, Ananthapuram, not to call the petitioner to the police station in connection with the debt relating to the above said Anjaneyulu, unless and until the crime is registered against the petitioner.
With the above direction, this criminal petition is closed.
