Present application has been filed by the applicant, seeking extension of time to submit representation before the Commissioner of Police, Jodhpur pursuant to the order dated 21.10.2022 passed by this Court in SB Criminal Misc. Petition No.7022/2022.

Learned counsel for the applicant submitted that while disposing of the misc. petition vide order dated 21.10.2022, this Court granted liberty to the petitioner to submit representation along with all the relevant documents before the Commissioner of Police, Jodhpur within a period of two weeks from the date of passing of the order and Commissioner of Police was directed to consider petitioner’s representation and ensure fair investigation in accordance with law.

Learned counsel for the applicant submitted that the applicant could not submit the representation before the Commissioner of Police, Jodhpur within the stipulated period due to some unavoidable circumstances. Thus, a prayer has been made to extend the time to submit the representation before the Commissioner of Police, Jodhpur.

For the reasons stated, the application is allowed.

Accordingly, the time granted by this Court to the applicant for submitting the representation before the Commissioner of Police, Jodhpur vide order dated 21.10.2022 is hereby extended. The applicant may now submit the representation within two weeks from today.
