Heard both the sides.
This bail application has been filed on behalf of Vishal Verma who is in custody since 06.06.2024 in connection with Cyber Crime P.S. Case No. 148 of 2024 for the offence registered under Sections 419, 420, 467, 468, 471 and 120B of the IPC and 66(B), 66(C) and 66(D) of Information Technology Act pending in the Court of Addl. Judicial Commissioner-II cum Special Judge, Cyber Crime at Ranchi, is pressed into motion.
Earlier bail application of the petitioner was rejected on merit vide order dated 27.01.2025 passed in B.A. No. 8498 of 2024 by Co-ordinate Bench of this Court and the present bail application is being renewed on the ground of custody of the petitioner for 19 months.
As per the prosecution case, the matter involves international syndicate of cybercrime and commission of cyber fraud of sum of Rs. 26,90,901.68/-
Learned A.P.P. for the State opposed the prayer for bail.
Considering the submissions, I do not find any change of circumstance to reconsider the bail application again.
Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner, is again rejected.
