Judgment

RULE. Learned AGP waives service of notice of rule for and on behalf of the respondent-State.
The present petition has been filed for the following relief:
“15(A) Your Lordships be pleased to issue the writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ and be pleased to direct the respondent to hear and decide the Stay application and / or main Revision Application No.21 of 2021 (Annexure-A) within two weeks in the interest of justice and equity;”
At the outset, upon instructions, learned AGP has submitted that appeal will be decided within a period of six weeks.
Accordingly, the respondent shall make an endeavor to decide Revision Application No.21 of 2021 within a period of six weeks and if the same is not decided within a period of six weeks, at least application for stay made in such revision application being Revision Application No.21 of 2021 shall be decided in the said period and the same shall be communicated to the petitioner.
The writ petition stands disposed of accordingly. Rule is made absolute to the aforesaid extent. Direct Service is permitted. No order as to costs.
