The petitioner, by way of present writ petition, seeks setting aside of an order dated 21.10.2019 (Annexure P-4) passed by the Court of Additional District Judge, Rupnagar, whereby the application under sub-Section (4) of Section 3-H of the National Highways Act, 1956, preferred at the instance of petitoiner for apportionment of compensation against the land belonging to "Peer Baba Lakh Data, Village Maura, Tehsil Anandpur Sahib", was dismissed.
[2] The dispute relates to apportionment of compensation.
[3] Learned counsel for the petitioner has produced a copy of application under Order 23 Rule 3 read with Section 151 of CPC, wherein it has been prayed that the main writ petition may be disposed off in terms of compromise/settlement dated 08.09.2025 arrived at between the petitioner and respondent No. 4-Gram Panchayat, Village Maura, Tehsil Anandpur Sahib. He thus submits that the aforesaid application dated 16.09.2025 may be taken on record. Copy of the application dated 16.09.2025 has been handed over to the counsel opposite.
[4] On the other hand, learned counsel for respondent No. 4-Gram Panchayat, Village Maura, Tehsil Anandpur Sahib, admits the factum of compromise/settlement dated 08.09.2025 arrived at between the parties and raises no objection against the prayer made in the aforesaid application or even or even to the taking of such application on the records of this case.
[5] In view of the aforesaid agreed stand, Registry to take on record the application dated 16.09.2025 alongwith its Annexures A-1 & A-2 and number the same as per Rules.
[6] In the light of contents of the aforesaid application dated 16.09.2025, learned counsel for the petitioner is permitted to withdraw the petition in terms of compromise dated 08.09.2025 arrived at between the parties.
[7] Dismissed as withdrawn.
[8] Pending miscellaneous application(s), if any, shall also stand disposed off.
