The prayer in the present writ petition is for releasing the medical reimbursement claim of the petitioner.
Reply in the form of affidavit dated 3.2.2020 of Engineer-in-Chief, Public Health Engineering Department, Haryana has been filed. As per the said
reply, the balance amount has been sanctioned and deposited in the account of the petitioner on 29.1.2020.
In view of the above, the present petition is rendered infructuous and disposed of accordingly.
At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that no interest has been paid. If it is so, the petitioner is at liberty to file representation. In
case the said representation is filed within four weeks from today, the respondents shall decide the same within another four weeks of receiving of the
said representation. In case the petitioner is found entitled to the interest on the delayed payment, the same shall be paid forthwith, otherwise a
speaking order shall be passed.
