Sandeep Moudgil, J

This writ petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of an appropriate writ, order or direction, particularly a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to reimburse the balance medical expenses of Rs. 1,00,000/- along with interest @ 6% per annum, incurred on the treatment of the petitioner’s dependent (wife), as out of the total claim of Rs. 2,90,000/-, only Rs. 1,90,000/- has been sanctioned vide order dated 21.08.2025 (Annexure P-5), without assigning any reason for withholding the remaining amount.

Learned State counsel submits that the claim of the petitioner towards medical reimbursement has since been duly considered and the remaining amount, as prayed for, has already been released. In support of the said submission, a copy of order dated 27.05.2024 has been produced in Court, which is taken on record.

Learned counsel for the petitioner, upon perusal of the said order and on instructions, does not dispute the statement made on behalf of the respondents and submits that the grievance raised in the present petition stands redressed.

In view of the above developments, as the relief claimed in the present petition has already been granted, no further cause of action survives for adjudication.

Accordingly, the present writ petition is disposed of as having been rendered infructuous.

Ordered accordingly.
