Allegation in this letter, which has been treated as an application, is that there is illegal mining in Aravali Hills range Faridabad in violation of orders of Hon’ble Supreme Court. Illegal construction of marriage/banquet halls is also taking place in forest area.

Vide order dated 15.04.2019, the Tribunal sought a factual report from the State PCB. The State PCB filed its report on 12.11.2019 to the effect that the matter was pending before the Hon’ble Supreme Court and also before the High Court and further action will be taken in accordance with a decision of the Hon’ble Supreme Court.

Vide order dated 13.11.2019, the matter was directed to be listed after decision of the Hon’ble Supreme Court in pending appeals, including Civil Appeal No. 10294/2013, Narinder Singh & Ors. v. Divesh Bhutani & Ors.

The matter has been now taken up in view of judgement of the Hon’ble Supreme Court in the above appeal on 21.07.2022.

In view of above, this application will stand disposed of with the direction that the statutory authorities may take further action in accordance with law.
