This Contempt Case has been filed complaining willful disobedience of the respondents in implementing the order dated 09.12.2022, passed by this Court in Writ Petition No.34662 of 2022.
On behalf of the respondent Nos.1 and 3 counter affidavits have been filed.
In prima facie opinion of this Court, the respondents have failed to implement the orders of this Court in true spirit. Hence, ordered notice in Form-I to the respondents on 02.02.2023. In compliance of the Form-I notice all respondents are present before this Court today.
During the course of hearing the learned counsel appearing for the respondents, brought to the notice of this Court that the order of this Court is complied with on 02.02.2023 and the total amount claimed in the Writ Petition was paid to the petitioner.
Learned counsel for the petitioner also submits that the petitioner received the amount.
Considering the above factual position, in our considered opinion, further adjudication in this Contempt Case is unwarranted.
Accordingly, this Contempt Case is closed. No costs.
As a sequel, miscellaneous applications pending in this contempt case shall stand closed.
