2.

Learned Counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are questioning the action of the respondents in scheduling the TGPSC AEE (Civil) Examination on 06.11.2026 and 07.11.2026, in pursuance of the Notification No.01/G/RB/2026, dated 02.06.2026 which clashes with the SSC JE Examination scheduled to be held on 02.11.2026 to 06.11.2026, as illegal and arbitrary and consequently, seeking a direction to the respondent No.2 to reschedule/postpone the TGPSC AEE (Civil) Examination.

5.

Learned counsel for the petitioners further submits that the Odisha Public Service Commission has postponed the Assistant Executive Engineer (Civil) examination, which was scheduled to be held on 08.11.2026 to 29.11.2026, in view of the scheduling of the OCS Main (Written) Examination-2025, in pursuance of the Advertisement No.5 of 2025. In view of the same, learned counsel requests this Court to dispose of the writ petition by directing the respondent No.2 to reconsider the case of the petitioners for changing the examination dates scheduled to be held on 06.11.2026 and 07.11.2026.

6.

On the other hand, learned Senior Counsel appearing for the respondent No.2 submits that, as far as possible, the respondent No.2 has provided an opportunity to the petitioners to submit application seeking to appear for the examination on 07.11.2026.
