Heard Mr. Ponnam Ashok Goud, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners, learned Government Pleader for Panchayat Raj and Rural Development, appearing for respondent No.1 and learned Government Pleader for Revenue, appearing for respondent Nos.2 and 3.
The brief facts of the case are that the Government allotted an extent of Ac.5.20 guntas of land in the year 1986 for the welfare and rehabilitation of members of the Rajaka Community within the limits of Ramanjaneya Colony, Gram Panchayat, Chunchupalli Mandal, Bhadradri Kothagudem District through Allotment letters were issued by Mandal Revenue Officer of Chunchupally Mandal, Bhadradri Kothagudem District, to the respective. Some of the original allottees have passed away, and their legal heirs have occupied the allotted house sites. The petitioners herein are the said allottes and/or their legal heirs. The allotment was intended for the welfare and benefit of the Rajaka Community. However, due to certain unavoidable circumstances, disputes, and pending Court proceedings, the petitioners and other community members could not continuously reside on the said land for a considerable period. Subsequently, the petitioners constructed their respective residential houses and have been treating the premises as their permanent place of residence. However, they have been facing hardship due to the absence of proper civic recognition and residential documentation. In these circumstances, the petitioners submitted a representation before Respondent No.4 on 03.08.2026 seeking appropriate action in respect of the subject land. However, no action has been taken on the said representation. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioners filed the present Writ Petition.
