ORDER:

Mr. Mohammed Absar Ahmed, learned counsel represents Mr. Syed Ahmed, learned counsel for the petitioner.

Mr. T. Sharath, learned Standing Counsel for Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences, appears for respondent No.1.

This Writ Petition is filed for the following relief:

“... to issue a Writ, in the nature of Mandamus or any other appropriate writ, declaring the action of the 1 Respondent in not allowing the Petitioner to exercise web options in the Minority Medical Colleges for admissions into MBBS Course as illegal, arbitrary, capricious and violative of Article 14 and 21 of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the 1 Respondent to allot a seat in the MBBS Course in the Minority Colleges as per the All India Rank and State of the Petitioner, in the interest of Justice and may pass such

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that respondent No.1-University has not permitted the petitioner to exercise web option for admission into MBBS course for the academic year 2026-27 in Minority Medical Colleges, despite being eligible under the Minority category as per the Minority Certificate dated 07.08.2026 issued by the Tahsildar, Bhainsa Mandal, Nirmal District. He submits that the petitioner preferred a representation before respondent No.1-University on 12.09.2026 to permit him to exercise web option under Minority category.

Learned Standing Counsel for respondent No.1-University, on instructions, submits that the representation dated 12.09.2026 of the petitioner would be re-examined by respondent No.1-Univeristy, in accordance with law.

Accordingly, the instant Writ Petition is disposed of directing respondent No.1-University to decide the petitioner’s representation dated 12.09.2026 as per the grounds taken in it and in accordance with law, by passing a reasoned order before the next counselling. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous applications pending, if any, shall stand closed.
