I.A. No. 3297 of 2020.

Heard learned counsel for the appellants and the learned counsel for the State on the Interlocutory Application filed by the appellants for granting bail during the pendency of the appeal.

The appellants have been convicted and sentenced for the offences under Sections 341, 323, 325, 307 / 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

There is allegation against the appellants to have assaulted the victim. The head injury on the victim was found to be simple in nature. The other injury was not on the vital part of the body. The appellants were on bail during the pendency of the trial.

In the facts and circumstances of this case, we are inclined to release the appellants, Surendra Mehta @ Lato, Vikash Kumar @ Biku and Alam @ Sikandar Mehta, on bail. Accordingly, the appellants named above, are directed to be released on bail during the pendency of this appeal, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) each, with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-IX, Hazaribag, in connection with S.T. No. 18 of 2013.

The aforesaid interlocutory application stands allowed.
