Judgment
The petitioner appears in person.
Mr. Debatosh Basak, presently Assistant Commissioner of Police, South Suburban Division appears. He has been named as respondent no. 4 in the
writ petition as the Officer-in-charge of Haridevpur Police Station. He submits that he is now no longer in charge of this area.
Mr. Debasish Chakraborty, Officer-in-charge of Haridevpur Police Station also appears and submits that action has been taken by the police in
accordance with law. He submits that charge sheet has been filed with respect to Haridevpur P. S. Case No. 211 dated 27.04.2017 under Sections
143/323/506(ii) of the Indian Penal Code. With regard to case no. 11 dated 07.01.2017 under Sections 379/427 of the Indian Penal Code, Final
Report True (F. R. T.) has been filed before the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Alipore. He submits that the petitioner has not filed
any objection to the same before the Learned Additional Judicial Magistrate.
The respondent no.3 being the Deputy Commissioner of Police, South West Division and the respondent no.4 being the Officer-in-charge of
Haridevpur Police Station are directed to pursue this case wherein charge sheet has been filed in accordance with law before the learned Additional
Chief Judicial Magistrate, Alipore.
With the above direction this writ petition is disposed of.
