Judgment

Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the extension period, for which the petitioner was claiming, has expired but till date, no benefit
whatsoever, in pursuance to his retirement, has been released to him.
Counsel for the State, on instructions from Shri Dinesh Kumar, Legal Assistant, submits that the petitioner has not signed the requisite documents
for release of his retiral benefits. He states that in case the petitioner complete his documents, the retiral benefits would be released to him within a
period of two months.
In view of the above, let the petitioner approach the District Education Officer, Jalandhar, on 16.03.2020 and complete his papers. On completion
thereof, the retiral benefits be released to him within a period of two months from the date of such completion of the documents.
The writ petition is disposed of accordingly.

In the light of the disposal of the main writ petition, no orders are required to be passed in the present application as the same has been rendered
infructuous.
