In the present writ petition, the petitioner is praying for issuance of a writ in the nature of Mandammus directing the respondents to release the whole retiral benefits of the petitioner including leave encashmennt, gratuity, contributory provvident fund etc. along with interest @ 18% per annum till actual realization. It is also prayed that a direction may be issued to respondent No.5 to decide legal notice dated 25.09.2024 (Annexure P-6) served by the petitioner.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, on instructionns from the petitioner, submits thhat he would be satisfied if at this stage, a direction is given to responddent No.5 to decide the legal notice dated 25.09.2024 (Annexure P-6) served by the petitioner in a time-bound manner.

Mr. Satnam Preet Singh Chaauhan, DAG, Punjab accepts notice on behalf of respondents No.1 and 2-State.

In view of the above and without commenting upon the merits of the case, the present petition is hereby disposed of with a direction to respondent No.5 to consider and decide the legal notice dated 25.09.2024 (Annexure P-6), served by the petitioner within a period of 03 months from the date of recceipt of certified copy of this order.

Registry is directed to sennd a copy of this order to respondent No.5.
