This is an application filed by the applicants-State praying for extension of time to comply the judgment and order dated 27.06.2023 passed by this court in W.P.(C) 996 of 2022 (D/O)
Heard Mr. M. Debbarma, learned Additional GA appearing for the applicants-State and Mr. K. Nath, learned counsel for the respondent.
Mr. Debbarma, learned Additional GA has sought for another 3(three) months’ time to comply the judgment and order dated 27.06.2023.
This Court had passed an order to comply the judgment and order within a period of 2 (two) months, but, this application for extension of time has been filed after expiry of 4(four) months. The applicants-State should have come forward before this Court prior to expiry of 2(two) months, as ordered by this Court.
However, considering the contentions made in the present application for extension of time, this Court deems it fit to allow the application for extension of time for another 45 days from today.
With the above direction, the instant I.A. stands disposed.
