IA-2687/2023: This bench notices that this application was filed on 25.03.2023 seeking extension of 90 days. However, it came up for consideration before this bench on 10.07.2023. In the meanwhile, the CIRP period, if extended in this application, gets over on 26.06.2023. The applicant presses that the said period should also be excluded.
From the records produced by the Registry, it is noticed that the scrutiny of the application could be completed on 02.06.2023, and thereafter the Registry issued a defect notice. Accordingly, this bench considered it appropriate to exclude a period of 62 days i.e. 25.03.2023 to 02.06.2023, after excluding 7 days period, which the Registry can take for scrutiny.
IA-2687/2023 is allowed and disposed of accordingly.
