The petitioner-wife seeks for transfer of OP 644/2019 pending on the files of the Family Court, Kozhikode, to the Family Court at Ernakulam.

OP 644/2019 is filed by the respondent-husband seeking dissolution of marriage. The petitioner is a resident of Ernakulam. CMP 4537/2019 was
filed by the petitioner before the Additional CJM, Ernakulam alleging commission of offences punishable under Section 354A & B and 498A of IPC.
The petitioner expresses concern to travel all the way up to the Family Court at Kozhikode and contest the proceedings.
Without expressing anything on merits of the allegations made against the respondent and making it clear that the correctness or otherwise of the
allegations levelled not being the considerations taken note of for transfer, I direct that OP 644/2019 pending on the files of the Family Court,
Kozhikode will stand withdrawn and transferred to the Family Court at Ernakulam.
The transfer petition is allowed as above.
