Judgment
The instant application has been filed by the applicant seeking to implead the new incumbent Chief Engineer NPWD (Housing) Er.M. Hotokhu Achumi as respondent/contemner No.5 in the connected COP(C) 11/2026.
Heard the learned counsel for the applicant Mr. Pheniang Lushang.
It is stated by the applicant that during the pendency of the connected COP(C)11/2026, the respondent No.3 has since retired from service and the respondent No.4 was impleaded subsequently. However, the respondent No.4 has also retired from service and Er. M. Hotokhu Achumi has taken over charge as Chief Engineer NPWD(Housing). Accordingly, it has become necessary to implead the new incumbent Er. M. Hotokhu Achumi as respondent No.5 in the pending COP(C)11/2026.
Considering the facts and circumstances, this application is allowed. The applicant shall file amended cause title impleading the new incumbent Chief Engineer, NPWD (Housing) Er. M. Hotokhu Achumi as respondent No.5 in the connected COP(C) 11/2026.
